There’s still so much amazing music out there to discover. That makes me indescribably happy.

Can’t stop listening to this heavily Gainsbourg-influenced jam. Just kills me.

WORK THIS WEEK
Not really work, per se, but it sounds better than “fun.”
Some days “shitty” just hits the spot.

Even Daryl Hall’s fucktarded mandolin playing can’t ruin this jam.

About five years ago, I got the idea that it’d be pretty fun to start a cover band that played Elliott Smith songs on baritone guitars through Fender Bassman amps, with big gritty bass, and Bonham-esque drums, all played in a sludgy, super-heavy, shoegazey fashion. Every time I hear an Elliott Smith song, I tend to revisit that idea. I know cover bands are a bad idea 9,999 times out of 10,000, but I still think it’d be fun as hell.
That sounds like the best thing ever.
